Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
This policy explains what The Third Place collects when you visit this site or request a booking, why, and the choices you have, including your rights under California law.
What we collect
- What you tell us: your name, email, phone and company, plus event details such as dates, times, guest count, the services you need, and anything you write in your message.
- How you found us: if you arrive from a tagged link (for example, an Instagram post), your browser saves the campaign tags, the first page you landed on and the referring site. This is sent with your request so we know which marketing works.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers process your IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver pages and prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated form submissions).
- For confirmed bookings: payment records, signed agreements and documents you upload, such as insurance certificates. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we don’t store full card numbers.
Cookies and similar technology
We don’t use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. The site stores the campaign details described above in your browser’s local storage, and the admin area uses a single sign-in cookie that’s required for it to work. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.
How we use it
- To answer your request, check availability, prepare quotes and manage your booking and event.
- To send emails about your request or booking, such as confirmations, document reminders and receipts.
- To connect you with vendors when you ask for services like catering or bartending.
- To understand which marketing brings people to the venue.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run the site for us under contract: website hosting (Vercel), application and database hosting (Render), email delivery (Resend) and payment processing (Stripe).
- Vendors you ask us to involve, who receive only the event details they need to quote or provide their service.
- The venue’s owner and management team, for operating and reporting on the venue.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as they’re useful for following up and planning, generally up to three years. Booking, payment and tax records are kept as long as the law requires, typically seven years. After that we delete or anonymize them.
Your California privacy rights
If you’re a California resident, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we’ve collected about you, where it came from, why, and who we’ve shared it with;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct information that’s wrong;
- delete it, unless we need to keep it (for example, records of a booking or payment).
To make a request, email patrick@streamlinedconsulting.online from the address you used with us, or tell us how to reach you. We’ll verify that the request comes from you before acting on it, and you can use an authorized agent. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights. Since we don’t sell or share personal information, there’s nothing to opt out of. Our site doesn’t respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals because we don’t track you across other sites.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Admin access requires a password and is limited by role, and we keep access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information like card numbers through the request form.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning events. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. Questions or requests? Email patrick@streamlinedconsulting.online. See also our Terms of Service.
